As confirmed with US magazine this past week, Angela Kinsey's "people" have revealed that the actress is indeed pregnant. Due in May, Kinsey and husband Warren Lieberstein have apparently been "trying for some time." Congratulations to one of the nicest people in television. That aside, this also brings up a lot of possibilities as to what would have happened during the season to cover up or explain her real-life pregnancy. Would they have just dressed her in bulky sweaters and had her carry a lot of boxes in front of herself, or would they have written it into the show somehow? Would this have brought Angela and "D" back together? Somehow, I just can't imagine Dwight spawning. But I suppose stranger things have happened...

If they wrote it into the show, that would make it funnier. Think about how Angela is kind of a hypocrite. She acts all high and mighty and righteous but for two years she was sleeping with Dwight without being married. It would be pretty easy to have her call him for a booty call, get her pregnant, and there would be comedy in the irony of her getting pregnant. They could hold out for awhile letting everyone in The Office know it\\\\\\\'s Dwight too. There\\\\\\\'s definitely a chance it could be lame, but I trust the Office writers to make it work.

That\'s one thing that\'s really bothered me about Angela; how does she reconcile being a devout little Christian while regularly engaging in premarital sex? (All the while calling *Pam* little short of a working hooker! Grrr.) But hypocritical as she is, I don\'t think Angela would deny that her baby has a father. Not that she\'d think it was anyone\'s business, but she wouldn\'t go that far. I see her being ecstatic about it, actually. It might be a funny way to play it, Andy and Dwight having heart-attacks while she just hums and smiles for nine months.

haha! \"i wouldn\'t mind a pair of small, well-behaved boys.\" i just saw that episode today. well, congrats to angela and her husband. (btw, is he related to paul?) anyway, i would hope that if the show comes back on the air and she is still pregnant that they will NOT write her pregnancy into the show. i mean, it\'s an office so it wouldn\'t be that hard to hide it. she\'s sitting most of the time or talks to pam from over the cubical partition.

It\'s got to be Dwight. Unless Andy got beyond \"necking\". I hope they write it into the script (assuming the strike gets resolved soon). Lots of laugh possibilities between the uncertainty of the two boys. Plus Michael making faces trying to imagine anyone with her.

I\'d love it for Angela to be pregnant on the show. I think it would really shock her out of the Andy-spell and remind her and Dwight what they loved about each other. While some shows might make a pregnancy sensational or use it as a ratings bid, I think The Office could make it funny, understated and sweet. Yeah, I\'m being sappy, but I think there\'s potential there.
