I'm on the opposite side for this episode...I loved it! It has been a long time since ilaughed this much at an episode of The Office; it has been several years at least. The biggest laugh came when Robert stripped naked and jumped into he pool followed by the kings of brown-nosing. Spader was well known or taking it off in movies...never did I except him to do it on TV. It just totally caught me by surprise! I'm enjoying the creep factor that slithered it's way into this episode...it will be interesting to see if this vie continues or if the jettison it in the next episode.

This episode has renewed my faith in the series. The Office is at its best when it mixes the sweet with the awkard of humanity. Ever been to an office pool party? It happens and yeah things go bad, really bad. And Erin, my heart swells and breaks for her. Maybe this is a woman's perspective but it speaks to me and I am thankful.

I always thought she was cute, but Wet 'n Wild Erin really stirred something primal in me. Wow. Decent episode, about par for season 8, but was I the only person who thought Jim crashing through something as he tore out of California's estate meant he was driving drunk? I know the joke was that he was hot to get out of there and Meredith had boxed in his car, but for a second I got shivers imagining a Jim-gets-a-DUI plotline, which does not sound hilarious.

Honestly I'm not sure what to think of this episode. There were some funny parts: Dwight and Erin's flirting was amusing and I enjoyed Oscar and Toby's wine bit. But for all the funny parts there were some weird ones. Dwight's near drowning? Kathy's obsession with Jim? Overall I was conflicted about this episode.

Well, I didn't see it coming, but this was one of the most unappealing episodes I've ever had to make myself watch. It was just plain bad. Did anyone notice that the house Jim raced away from at the end did not match the house we saw on the internet listing? What dunce - who claims to be an expert at leaving parties - parks where he obviously will get pinned in? And wow - when did the show producers decide to lay it on heavy with the homosexual angle (not that there's anything wrong with that)? Tobey's courting Oscar, and Robert C is having some wierd all male dance-a-thon with Gabe and Ryan. Very uncomfortable. And lastly (sadly) they are making it clear that the new temp is going to be making moves on Jim. I'm not looking forward to that plot line. Not funny at all. I found myself tapping the play button on my DVR remote over & over just to see how much time was left to endure.

I have to admit I am a little speechless after watching last nights episode. It reminded me of those creepy 80's after school specials in which children were taught what to do when an over friendly adult gets "too friendly". Robert walking around pointing out that he wanted a playboy style mansion complete with b movies taken from late night Cinemax was a little to bizarre for me. I wasn't a fan of the Andy ring plot. Once the ring was lost it would have just made sense for Andy to say it was his, he could of used a number of excuses as to why it was on him (he was going to have it sized or a stone put in it). I did like the Dwight comment to Andy at the end (you're and idiot). I think it was then end that really put me over. Watching Gabe and Ryan half heartily dance as Robert sat in an easy chair reminded me of the uncomfortable Diffrent Strokes episode in which the bike shop owner took a special liking to Dudley. I love this show but I knew once Michael left it would be only a matter of time.
