Anyone have any pre-show comments?
Don't forget-- the "Producer's Cut" will start streaming at 9pm PACIFIC time... also, Greg Daniels will be doing another live blog right after the episode airs in the Eastern/Central time zones (i.e. 9pm/8pm central). The first one wasn't all that great (too many comments from fans, not enough time or ability to address all of those comments on the part of the person being interviewed). Still, if you want to see it, go to NBC.com and click on the "live blog" link. If you miss the party, NBC posts the transcripts on the regular "The Office" web page. I hate to buy into needless hype, but Jenna Fischer saying this is the "best episode we've ever done" has me definitely intrigued.

I know I said it before but I just think it was so funny that Michael\'s ringtone for calls coming from the Office had the \"MY HUMPS\" ring tone. And we know his favorite thing about Pam is her breasts from \"The Secret\". I can\'t wait until the podcast comes out. There should be tons of great clips.

Yeah, me again. Sorry. I just re-watched the Producers Cut and it occured to me that Michael probably took Dwight because (as he states in this edition) things were probably going to get ugly and he needed backup. Also, if it WAS going to get ugly, Michael wouldn\\\'t want Ryan\\\'s pretty face to get mussed up, right? That\\\'s enough out of me.

This is one of my favorite episodes. I do agree with Matt that it would have been better if Michael had done anything to help, but his willingness to try is sincere, if a little stupid. My favorite moment was Jim\'s quote \"Say what you will about Michael Scott, but he would never do that.\" I love how he is looking away from the camera in disgust before he says that. It is such a change for Jim who is usually looking straight into the camera during all his talking heads. The cold open was great- these seem to be hit or miss lately, but this one was excellent. A little Office Trivia- What episode was the first one with a cold open???? I am already preparing myself for the day that Steve Carell tires of doing TV. You guys touched on it briefly during the pcast last week. It would be great when he leaves if he goes to corporate, instead of getting fired. That way NBC could use him as a guest star during sweeps weeks. I would love for them to somehow bring in Ricky Gervais to replace Carell when he leaves, but I\'m pretty sure he (Gervais) wouldn\'t do it. I would be interested in how what you think The Office might look like in a post-Carell era. I\'ll still watch- he\'s great- but the writing is what carries this show. Good job as always on the podcast guys!

Oh man, that opening got me too. SO funny! I really liked this episode. It may even be my favorite so far this season. I thought it was funnier than Michael didn\'t do anything to save it than if he had pulled off some incredible move. The fact that we\'ve seen him make some big deals this year keeps it believable enough to me that he\'d actually still have a job there, but to have him do something heroic to keep the branch open could have been too much. I was able to laugh more at his wallowing in self-pity since we already knew that things had changed dramatically with the branch closing story. I also liked that Karen spilled to the camera about her feelings for Jim. Don\'t get me wrong - I\'m all about Jim and Pam getting together, but I do like Karen and I\'ll be interested to see what happens next with her. I haven\'t seen the producer\'s cut yet, but I\'m looking forward to watching it tonight!

Wow. What an action packed little episode we have here. I have watched that cold open at least four times and I laugh every single time Jim explains his prank. I really miss all the awkward pauses that were more noticeable in the second season. Everything\'s going so fast that there\'s no time for Michael says something stupid, silence, Jim reacts, and some one else says something. Although Jan\'s reaction to Michael was great. SexyBeard, you are never getting back with Pam. There\'s only room for a triangle, and if you keep up with that lame dialogue, she\'s never taking you back. It\'s Fancy New Beesly (who it\'s now clear is either in love or majorly jonesing for Jim) VS. Karen for the affections of Fat Halpert. Go Team Pam! I guess Dwight and Angela are over, since she\'s full on flirting with Roy. I hope the last chance for Roy and Pam are destroyed by this holy cruise missile. Seeing Angela and Kevin hug is like Stanley and Michael high fiving. Sweet, but we will never see it again. Great, great episode.

I thought Steve was fantastic last night. The fact that Michael didn\'t have to do anything, except not be Josh, and that that was enough to keep Scranton open...well, it killed me. Plus the whole \"Michael Moore, documenmenarian\" thing was excellent. Plus, Jan going to Scranton to tell Michael about Scranton closing before she had talked to Josh? Priceless. Could not have been written better. I thought it was a terrific episode, from cold open (Faxes to Dwight! From himself! From the future!) to Toby missing out on Costa Rica for another 30 years.

The fact that Michael THOUGHT he was doing something for the office (was going to the CFO\'s HOUSE really the answer? Any normal person would have at least called first, or gone to his OFFICE. But this is Michael Scott we\'re talking about.)and it turned out that he did absolutely nothing made it so much more funny to me! Of course, I am extremely easily amused. . . Perhaps Jim didn\'t want to pull another \"Josh\" on Jan. He is a terribly nice guy, after all. I agree that NBC gave away too much in the promo. Punks. Let us freak out for a week wondering what the reunion is going to be like! It\'s what keeps some of us going . . . :)

By far not the best episode ever. Overall, my 2nd favorite episode of the season so far. We could definitely tell the difference in writers. We laughed pretty hard at the opening with the fax from the future. The Dwight/Michael stuff fell flat. I pictured them racing around New York pulling out Michael/Dwight type presentation, remembering back to Performance Review and Valentine\'s Day. I didn\'t see Meredith or Oscar at all. And it was intersting to see how all the employees were handling the closing. Pam - was fine with it closing, almost happy then happy it stayed open Stanley, Toby - were happy, then sad Kevin, Angela - they hugged! *** And how about Michael\'s ringtone!?!?! and I *** wonder if he has Pam\'s ringtone set to My Humps? Did they give away too much? Not in my opinion. Jim and Pam have talked on the phone already so that reunion awkwardness isn\'t so big. Pam is anxious for Jim to come back and Jim seems comfortable with going back (I think Karen has something to do with that). I loved the introduction of Michael and Karen. \"You look exotic.\" How Michael is that! I need to watch it again.
