That's What She Said -- The Office

Thanks to Jennie Tan (a.k.a. Tanster) for being kind enough to link to my convention special podcast episodes on OfficeTally.com.

I recognized her from the "internets," and introduced myself at the press conference. She's very nice and certainly more down to earth than I might be if I got to hang out with the cast on a regular basis. Since starting this podcast, I've often felt cut off from most of the other "The Office" fan community. The convention was a good chance for me to meet the cast and people like Tanster, and I'm glad to be feeling more connected with things "post-show."

My carpool-mate Adam presented Tanster with a cool parking sign with the Dunder Mifflin logo at the Bloggers' Breakfast (he works for a company that makes traffic signs), and it went over pretty well. He also gave one to Melora Hardin which earned him a much talked about hug. Check his flickr page for images.

It\'s so nice of you to put this up. I am a tallyhead and I actually found your podcast last year through Officetally. She has you on her links page. We were talking about your podcasts last night in the OT chatroom.

I\'m not a huge convention goer (which is strange considering my interests . . .) but your audio convention coverage made me wish I\'d been there!! And welcome to anyone who found TWSS due to Matt\'s coverage. I think you\'ll like it here. :)

Thank you for the warm welcome! And thank you SO much for providing these recordings -- I also audio recorded the Writers\' Block but the sound quality is horrible. I should have left it to the professionals. :)

I\\\'m bummed the blogger breakfast event turned into the Brian and Billy Ray show (though I thought Kate\\\'s comments were eloquent and heartfelt). I wanted to know more about the bloggers and such (esp. those outside of OfficeTally, whose story is well-known). Nice to see a little cross-recognition. That could be the best part of The Office Convention so far! Kudos to Adam for the sign. And to Matt for providing some of the best coverage of the convention out there.

Helping get Matt to the Convention and presenting Tanster with the sign were definitley major highlights of the weekend for me. The whole event exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Getting a hug from Melora Hardin? Priceless. :) I had a fantastic time. I hope you did too, Matt. If we go next year though, let\'s fly there instead. :)
