Episode # 102 of THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID finds both Matt and Kevin loving Big Brother. TWSS listeners, I find you absolutely ribbitting! When Michael, Jim, and Dwight are bested by male model slash pam's ex-lover slash salesman Danny Cordray, they set up an undercover "stinger" operation to learn the secrets to his hunky success-- if Meredith can keep her pants on, that is. Meanwhile, Andy's feeling blue when pal Broccoli Rob finds an amazingly small amount of professional success. His answer? Jam with Darryl and Kevin to create a kick-ass song people can ice skate to. Or... maybe a truck commercial? Either way. Incidental music provided by Music Alley from Mevio. Great podcast - great way to ease back in the office after being out most of the week. I watched this episode twice and I actually kinda liked it better the second time. I like those moments when Michael is actually competent, though it was weird when juxtaposed to Idiot Michael in the opening. Also, my 2-year-old loved the frog song. It's been a nice alternative bedtime song to "Old MacDonald". What is up with Jim, I agree. He's been taking his job seriously since the golf course episode and Ryan as the boss, then in this episode he wants his life to stay the same? Doesn't agree with him wanting to be a salesman to make more money. Also, no irony in his demeanor as he joins with Dwight in a prank. He was his normal ironic self on the sales call, but it seemed to vanish into nowhere. I must be the only one who didn't know who the guest star was so this guy wasn't jarring to me. And yes, he was really handsome, especially with his suit jacket off. Was he supposed to be someone Pam dated between Roy and Jim? Was that really 4 years ago? whew...... Again, thanks for the podcast!

I really liked The Sting. It had some of the old office comedy timing back. Well written jokes. Great delivery. Michael doing what he does best, screwing things up in a well meaning way. The line about Packer in the field at the end was a gem. For me, my favorite episode of the season. It wasn't trying to be glitzy or pretentious. I really enjoyed it.

Enjoyed the podcast, as usual. It must be a true labor of love, because at this point, there's nothing about The Office that inspires thoughtful discussion. It doesn't do "subtle" anymore, among other things. That said, it can still be funny and enjoyable. I'll keep watching .... and listening. Thanks for what you do.

No worries guys! I didn't love "The Sting" the way I loved "Sex Ed". I do agree with Shimmyx20 that it's still better than a good deal of the Season 6 episodes though. Of course I don't hate you all if you don't love the same episodes I do, lol! But it was fun to hear you read my rant on the podcast. I love TWSS and I am thankful for the time and talent you put toward it every week. Thanks for the shout out! Can't wait for the next podcast!
