Episode # 128 of THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID finds both Matt and Kevin playing the body-bongos. Ooh, baby I love your (replacement's) way-ay... eve'ry day! When preggo-Pam is feeling a bit underappreciated and under-actractive, who better to call on for some crotch-grabbing/ husband testing action than dear old Dwight K. Schrute? NO ONE, I say! Let hilarity ensue! Meanwhile, Andy, Darryl and Kevin learn a valuable lesson about jamming, Gabe continues to creep everyone out, and I continue to wonder why, eactly, Pam needs a replacement to do her fake office manager job. Hi guys! Love the podcast; thanks for taking the time to do it. A few comments: 1) To piggy back off of what Diane said, isn't Pam still a salesman in addition to her office manager job? If that is true, then needing a replacement temp seems justified. 2) Interesting discussion of the origin of the "That's What She Said" phrase. Just wanted to point out that in the DVD commentary of the Sexual Harassment episode in Season 2, B.J. Novak mentions that he wrote in "TWSS" and "THIS GUY!" because those were popular jokes among his friends in college. 3)Finally, I've been meaning to post for a couple of weeks that I continue to be surprised at the amount of hate for Robert California. Not only do I thoroughly enjoy his character, I actually wish that he had been made the Regional Manager instead of Andy. Don't get me wrong; I love the character of Andy, but I have to agree with Matt from previous podcasts that either Andy doesn't have enough depth to stay interesting as the center of the show, or maybe we have already spent too much time over the past seasons learning about him. Robert CA on the other hand still has a lot of mystery and depth about him. I think the show could be a lot more interesting and intriguing if it focused more on the office employees trying to figure out who Robert is rather than constantly going back to the same tired "Andy is trying to prove himself" routine a la Gettysburg. I think James Spader does an excellent job, and I am still trying to figure out why Robert said, "Everything is sex" comment from the season 7 finale.

How can we justify Pam's job? When Pam was receptionist, she was beyond capable - taking care of Michael, managing the office, answering phones. Erin as receptionist - she can barely send a fax. So Pam basically has her old job minus the phone answering part. Right?
