Episode # 15 of THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID finds both Matt and Ian dealing with the disappointment their impersonator fathers are feeling with their chosen career paths... seriously, dad-- we're allergic to powdered wigs! Hear ye, hear ye! 'Tis time for Dame Phyllis' wedding shower, and gentle goodman Benjamin Franklin's in the hiz-ouse! Every man should know how to throw a bachelor party, and Michael's on the case, armed with some horrible advice from Todd Packer. Separate but Equal? So THAT's what that means! Will Michael be able to survive his lap dance? Will Jim and Pam finally have more than an awkwardly phrased conversation? And what, exactly, have Jim and Karen been doing instead of sleeping? Talking? Yeah right! Incidental music provided by the Podshow Podsafe Music Network. I have not made it through the entire podcast yet (a 15 min drive to, and 15 from, work makes the \'cast last all week). But I wanted to see if you had caught the \"Thats What She Said\" music video on the NBC Office website? It highlights all the Thursday shows, but was totally inspired by The Office. I wonder if NBC actually aired this? I thought it was really well done, and who know, maybe inspired by your podcast\'s title? Too bad you already have a theme song, this would sure work!

One thing I noticed you missed about the Jim/Pam story line that ties into the stripper... When Dwight was ordering the stripper, he asks Jim which he would prefer: brunette or redhead, and Jim responds: Blonde. Then they focus in on Pam (who I never really considered a redhead, but is close enough for the sake of the story). What do you think of that? I truly think that Jim was just avoiding the Pam/Karen question by that response.

oh, okay, i get what you\'re saying. i don\'t think all of the deleted scenes are like that but i definitely agree that some of them don\'t really make any sense. i thought the one with toby and pam and the starbucks made toby seem waaay too weird. that\'s the only one i can think of right now but i know there are a bunch more where i was like \"huh?\". i still cracked up though! :-)

Hi. Nice job again. A few things: Matt, you have often been critical of Jim\'s \"nice guy\" syndrome. Yeah, that might be where some of his troubles come from. But I think he\'s also lonely and desperately trying to do something to force himself to stop wanting Pam. It\'s not working, and even he\'s admitted out loud that Karen is a rebound girl. So, not sure how much niceness is actually playing a part right now. Oh, also, when I wrote that Ian must have meant \"rushed\" writing sarcastically, I really meant that he seemed to be using it as a euphemism for \"bad\" writing. On another topic, I have to say that it took me three viewings to decide whether the two super awkward Pam scenes were awksome or not, meaning were they believable or just so over the top weird that they didn\'t work. I\'ve concluded that they did work, even the super duper awkward god-help-us Pam and Karen scene. At first I thought that Pam was just too tripping all over herself, that no one would mess it up that badly. But when I think of it from the point of view of her really being in love with this guy, not knowing what we know, and suddenly being put on the spot by his supposed new girlfriend, I can see her being that uncool. So, I\'ll try not to comment on the following more than, say, another five times or so. But am I literally the ONLY one who has a problem with the deleted scenes? Am I the only one who stumbles over how to incorporate them and gets annoyed at their existence, yet cannot not watch them? I think that if I saw them months and months later on a DVD or something, it would be different. But seeing them within a couple days of the episode confuses me to no end! Is anyone with me??? Like I wrote maybe last week: I want my fake world real! Damnit. Maybe I just have a limited brain.

what do you mean they\'re confusing? i might agree with you but i\'m not sure what you mean. well, i usually agree with you, nomi, so i\'ll say...yes. i totally know what you\'re talking about. :-) oh, if anyone wants more spoilers, thetvaddict.com has another new short clip about jim and dwight. hilarious! i\'ve gotta try that prank on someone.

I mean confusing like, \"is that part of the story?\" \"Did that actually happen\"? \"Are we supposed to actually think that about that character, or not really because it was only in a deleted scene\"? \"If we are, then what about the really lame deleted scenes that shouldn\'t even be released\"??? See? My brain is limited.

wow, not so glad to see that you found the song to the secret secret line. Did anyone else see the promo for this week\'s episode? It says something happens between Jim and Pam but I doubt that now that you said she goes out with one of Ryan\'s college buddies. Great Podcast. Also I\'m really happy you dropped that sound bite about the frat pack podcast. Those just happen to be my favorite kind of movies ( anchorman, 40 year old virgin, old school, etc.) I wonder how many people are going to get drunk at the wedding? maybe roy if he even got invited or Kevin. And I can\'t wait for some more Scrantonicity ..In the words of Kevin .. NICE

Sabai, I hope your comment isn\'t directed toward the promo for the Frat Pack Tribute podcast. That was a gratis promo in return for the promo for TWSS that I played for Matt. And, I hope you would agree, is pretty related to people interested in The Office. Nice show! Not only are we learning about the show, we\'re learning A LOT about our hosts! Matt - never been to a strip club? Apparently those sales lesson from Todd Packer are paying off for Ian! Another great show!

I heard about this story on local Chicago radio and now have found the actual article: http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/article.html?in_article_id=36140&in_page_id=2 It looks like Meredith was just following a new trend by consuming hand sanitizer, all those episodes ago.
