Thanks for another great podcast. Dwight\'s speech wasn\'t my favorite from season 2, but I still enjoyed hearing your take on the episode. Oh, Kevin, I can\'t believe you aren\'t a fan of Family Guy. Just so you guys know I fell in love with both The Office and Family Guy when I ordered the entire seasons through....................NETFLIX. lol That was my Netflix testimonial.

I\'m really behind with my podcasts thanks to joining audible for a bit and getting addicted to audio books, so you have your sponsors to thank for my late response. :) Anyway, unlike most people apparently, I really liked this episode from the moment I first watched it. I loved that the people seemed to be listening to Dwight\'s enthusiasm and passion and not the words he was actually saying (though the fact that they were chanting phrases back to him does seem to contradict that idea.) I guess I loved the correlation the writers subconsciously made between salespeople and dictators. Ioan Gruffudd is pronounced Yo-ann Griffith. He\'s welsh. I had no idea they were coming out with an Office version of Clue! I am positively thrilled. I love that game. I play it with my family all the time. Can\'t wait.

I have to say this is probably my least favourtie episode of Season 2 this or Bring you Daughter to Work Day. But those two are good episodes compared to some of the worse ones in the other seasons. But listening to your podcast than watching it again I have to say it did make me laugh for maybe the first time at that episode. Thanks for the podcast,If I ever need a bit of Office in the summer I just go to my podcasts. Countdown to Season 6!!!

Awesome episode, natch. As far as Dwight\'s prize: based on the fact that he was introduced as \"Dunder Mifflin\'s top salesman,\" it sounds like the company is apart of a regional sales convention that convenes yearly and highlights the top salesmen from its member companies. The prizes, still, are a little ridiculous but otherwise it made perfect sense to me. \"Very best of luck to you, Dwight.\" \"Thank you, Angela.\" \"I come to work early every morning to set the thermostat. I like it a little cooler; I\'m more productive that way. Some people don\'t like it ... but I don\'t care,\" Oscar. LOL!

Great episode as usual. I had some thoughts: It\'s probably just branch-wide, because in Season 3 Episode 2 (The Convention), Dwight is blown away by the volume Jim is doing in Stamford. As to Jim being #9, it could either be a joke that Jim goes along with, or they COULD be counting the traveling salespeople (such as Todd Packer) into whatever branch they are based at. The #1 prize being a DVD burner doesn\'t make any sense at all; back in Season 1 Episode 6 (Hot Girl), with Katy, the company was awarding the top salesman of the MONTH a prize worth $1000. Unless the prizes aren\'t from the company, but from this organization that sponsors the convention. Maybe Dwight was #1 in the organization and there is some formula you put your sales numbers into so that different companies selling different products can compare like numbers. Keep up the good work guys =D -Jason Accountant
