Well, despite the nominations, the Hollywood Foreign Press has shown no love for THE OFFICE tonight.Alec Baldwin (from NBC's 30 ROCK) beat out Steve Carell for the BEST MALE ACTOR IN A COMEDY award, and FUGLY BETTY took the BEST COMEDY category. Ah well. Can't win 'em all. WE know it's the best show on TV, anyway.

In your last podcast you asked if it had ever been mentioned that Jim went to college? I was watching the epidose \\\"Dwight\\\'s Speech\\\" today and Jim tells Dwight that he majored in public speaking in college. Even though he admits he didn\\\'t major in public speaking, I think it is still implied that he went to college... but I don\\\'t know. Well Great podcast and keep up the great work!

Hey, my I-Pod isn\'t working, so I just finished listening to the last two podcasts. Just a small question, in the Back from Vacation episode, when Darryl picks up the Ipod, I thought the point was that Michael wasn\'t actually playing the drums, but he had the song playing on the Ipod. Was I wrong? And so happy to see that no one is leaving the show per Jenna Fischer\'s myspace page!!

Can\'t say I\'ve ever seen 30 Rock, but I can say Alec Baldwin makes me cringe. . And Ugly Betty. . well I loved America\'s speech, but I just can\'t see that show being more funny than the Office. Plus, it\'s best COMEDY. . not best message for young girls . . . And by the way. . I would like you all to know .. I am faster than 80% of all snakes. .

I can\'t beleive we got beat by ugly betty again. This time in an award show. Also 30 rock is ok, not as good as the other three shows during nbc\'s comedy 2 hour. But alec baldwin isn\'t that funny in it. ^^^ and to joni, I can raise and lower my cholestorol at will, suck it =)

i thought it was ridiculous that Ugly Betty won. No luck for the office last night. i do enjoy 30 rock so kudos to alec for the win. Ugly Betty may have won the battle, but The Office will win the.....bigger battle. The Emmys. Great job matt and ian, ive listened to every episode u guys rule. keep producing great episodes and i know u guys will crack the top 100 podcasts in itunes.

I had no problem with Alec Baldwin winning his award. Jack Donaghy can be powerful, buffoonish, emotionally stunted, and even sympathetic - and that\\\'s all in less than 22 minutes every week. I also was fine with \\\'Ugly Betty\\\' winning once I saw Salma Hayek bounce (ahem) up to the stage with the cast and crew to accept their award. Muy caliente! And Sacha Baron Cohen might have had one of the best award speeches ever.

michael has been LESS of an ass this season than last. 30 rock is somewhat funny and i\\\'m starting to get into it but NO WAY is baldwin\\\'s character (or baldwin himself) funnier than steve carrell! tracy morgan is way funnier on 30 rock than baldwin, which is disappointing because baldwin is usually funny when he hosts snl. ugly betty is SOOO NOT funny! i don\\\'t know why people think its so great, anything remotely funny they put in that show\\\'s 10 second promos. my dad is all happy because hugh laurie won, he thinks \\\"house\\\" is the best show on tv. i wouldn\\\'t go that far but i do fancy hugh laurie quite a bit! THE OFFICE RULES! no contest! and hey, at least tony shaloub didn\\\'t win!!
