We mentioned earlier that FAMILY GUY is up against THE OFFICE for best comedy at the Emmys this year, but as a fan of both shows, for which should I cast my metaphorical vote?
Both Brian and Stewie find themselves in a similar quandary, and have some pretty good points to make: Thanks to listener Kathryn Kramer for bringing this to my attention.

I usually have a great sense of humor, but that was kinda horrifying. I watch Family Guy sporadically, so I get the joke, but I\'m a sap for dogs - comedy dogs, real dogs, fake dogs. The image of one getting bloodied and beaten by a baby, even in a silly animated sitcom where he talks like a dude, bothers me. It bothers me that Stewy talks like Lawrence Olivier, so I can\'t contribute rationally to this. I don\'t think The Office or The Family Guy deserve the Emmy. 30 Rock does - even if NATAS went a little nuts in doling out all those nominations.

I will take a chance on sounding like an idiot. Obviously this is a take off from a previous episode where Brian owed Stewie money. But is this from an actual episode, or someone having fun with You Tube? It has been so long since I\'ve watched Family Guy. (Hangs head in shame.)
