For those of you paying attention, you know that our dear Jenna Fischer is set to co-star in the film BLADES OF GLORY with Will Ferrell and Jon Heder. The plot of the movie? Well, Wikipedia says:
At the 2002 World Figure Skating Championships, rival world-class men's singles skaters Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) disgraced their sport with an all-out brawl. Consequently, they were both banned from the men's singles competition for the rest of their lives. After three long, arduous years away from the sport they love, they attempt to put aside their differences and team-up in an effort to exploit a loophole in their suspension. It turns out that there is one category in which they can both still compete: pairs figure skating. Of course, that event is usually reserved for opposite-sex couples and the duo is sure to find fierce competition from rivals far more experienced at the art. Stranz (Will Arnett) and Fairchild (Amy Poehler), the uncompromisingly competitive reigning pairs champions, comprise one such team. I mention this because the trailer recently hit Apple.com (today, in fact). Check it out if you're so inclined. Jenna plays someone called "Katie," who unfortunately doesn't appear in the trailer. Pity. Mr. Crossman, you looking forward to this one? edit: BTW, while you're there, check out HOT FUZZ, the latest from Simon Pegg & Nick Frost (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead)... it looks totally dawesome. edit 2: Kevin sent me a link to a shaky trailer on youtube for SMILEY FACE, a stoner comedy starring Anna Faris. Why should anyone but Creed care? Because a nearly unrecognizable John Krasinski also stars as Faris' "nerdy best friend." Lord, what will the "Jammers" think?

Oh, yeah. The Frat Pack fans are definitely looking forward to this one! There definitely was disappointment with no Jenna sighting in the trailer. But I\'m really looking forward to seeing her in a different kind of role and (hopefully) away from the \"Pam\" look. I believe she plays the love interest for the Jon Heder character. There are a lot of Frat Pack connections with this movie. It is produced by Ben Stiller, and while he does not make an appearance, another Frat Pack star is rumored to have a cameo. Poehler and Arnett have Frat Pack connections as does Rob Corrdry who appears in the movie as well.
