Matt and Kevin--nice to hear your dulcet tones again! I'm not expecting art from the Office anymore, but still enjoy it as a comfortable old friend. If you can accept that neither Dwight nor Jim would remember hand trucks, their ridiculous handling of the warehouse problem was pretty funny. They make a good comic pair and I think it is funnier when they try to work together than when they are at odds. I really enjoyed how Andy handled the confrontation with Daryl; for me, it seemed like the first time Andy was himself and not just mouthing Michael's lines.

Matt...the first two posts of this thread are reason enough to continue doing the podcast. All across the internet there is a similar divergence of opinion. Focusing on your "yin" versus Kevin's "yang" (I know, that's what she said) might be the direction you guys want to head... As for my own thoughts, I very much enjoyed the emotional depth of this one...and the continuity aspect of why Darryl didn't get the job when he was more qualified than Andy. The faults with the cold open and warehouse scenes didn't bother me too much because they did provide some laughs. And it's good that they didn't feel the need to shoehorn Spader into an episode where he wasn't needed. My favorite moment was when when the guy with the hearing problem kept interjecting into Andy and Darryl's conversation.

Dear Matt, You should probably just skip tonight's cold open, for I fear it will finally push you over the edge into total psychopathic Office-hating rage (the not so fun kind) Yours truly, Brendan Noel TWSS Podcast Listener since 2007 Head of Committee to Restore Matt Sommer's Faith in The Office since 2011 (though unannounced, this committee was founded last season in brighter times, but it seems destined to crash and burn this season)

Well, that happened. Only time I laughed was when Kevin "died" at the end of the cold open. A sad state of affairs. I will probably continue to watch the show til it ends, out of some strange devotion (or masochism) but still love the podcast. In fact I probably wouldn't keep watching the show if I couldn't look forward to the podcast! Thanks for keeping the dream alive, guys. It can't be easy :)

New hope for The Office! Surprisingly, i very much enjoyed every second of this episode, the first episode to make me think the show'll survive without Steve. The Darryl stuff came to a downfall, and gave me hope that Andy will be emotionally connected to his worker's, like Michel. The recruit plotline was hilarious, Oscar stuff was weird, and the Jim and Dwight alliance was great. Their recognition of the cameras was something not used for a while. Despite my initial reaction to the description, this was a terrific episode.
