It's with a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat that I post this description for tonight's season finale (??) "The Deposition." Sounds like it's ripe for many uncomfortable moments, and Jan & Michael surely have much dirty laundry that will be aired (JamaicaJanSunPrincess anyone?). From NBC.com: THE DEPOSITION

Robinson) beats Jim (John Krasinski) at ping-pong. Rainn Wilson, B.J.

Watched the second deleted scene. So glad they cut out that stuff that made Michael look like a complete idiot. BTW - with all this focus on Jan\'s \"twins\" in this episode, am I the only one who has noticed that Pam seems to be at least a cup size larger this season?

It was good to see Michael get some embarrassment and comeuppance. He\'s just so unlikeable when it comes to Toby. The tray pushing thing was mean, but I guess Toby got the last laugh. You think the journal being out in the open lets Michael know that his worship of Ryan isn\'t normal? He seemed embarrassed that people knew he thought Ryan was hot.

If the second season was the year Jim grew as a character, and the third season was the year FNB grew, is it safe to say that the fourth season will be Michael\'s year? David Wallace is so darn likeable. And he keeps coming back every few shows. Why do I get the feeling that he\'ll be very important to the plot at some point this season? That is...if we get any more shows this season. Sigh. Wiping tear away from cheek.

I loved this episode... i laughed and cried... yep, I shed a a real tear for Michael at the end of the deposition. I loved the trash talking between Kelly and Pam, it was laugh out loud funny. This was a different episode, but I really enjoyed it. I hope it was not the last for the season.

This episode kinda reminds me of Business School, in that the two plotlines are so different in the same show. It also had a scene where you can see everybody get all into Michael\'s face, and somehow in his own way he triumphs over it. The best part of the show is seeing Toby cracking up in the deposition when the lawyers talked about Ryan. It just seemed right, and I don\'t think I\'ve seen him laugh so hard in the show before.

This episode was kind of a downer -- though I may find more about it to like when I rewatch it. However, I must say that I had a laugh out loud moment seeing Jan in the lobby at corporate with her hair all messed up. Hilarious! Also, that David Wallace is a stand-up guy.

Not gonna lie...my tiny cold heart broke several times during this episode. Although I was expecting some sort of self-destruction from Michael during the deposition, I genuinely was not expecting Michael to be thrown under the wheels of the bus by not only Jan, but corporate as well. Ouch. The realization in Michael\'s eyes, followed by his recovery, was painful. Also--I usually like the darker stuff balanced with the lighter stuff, but I could have done without the ping-pong story line all together. That entire thread did nothing for me.

In reading the comments here, maybe Pam\'s competitive nature isn\'t so far off from FNB (\"fancy new Beesly\"). Jim loses to Darryl but doesn\'t care, but because FNB wants to better herself, she is more competitive and wants the same for Jim. Jim goes along with it to make FNB happy but perhaps he realizes he should try harder too. I\'m sure some of the ladies thought Jim was a dick for bailing on the match between FNB and Kelly, but as a guy I am letter Mr. Halpert off the hook.

I think part of the reason Kelly is talking smack is that she\'s trying to convince herself (and everyone else)that she\'s over Ryan. Hey, look at my cool new boyfriend, he\'s so much better than yours. Whatever, I\'m sure if Ryan showed interest in her again she\'d ditch Darryl. As for Pam\'s reaction, is there anything more annoying than someone like Kelly having bragging rights? I don\'t blame her for trying to shut Kelly up.

I think the fact that Pam did let Kelly get to her was a bit unusual, but not unrealistic. Pam saw Jim getting involved in something, so she got involved as well. Once she was immersed in the competition, it was easier for her to let Kelly get to her, and she reacted within the terms of the issue. Heck, maybe she also wanted to see if Jim would actually do it for *her.* Roy would have just done it for himself. Also... Jim is totally \\\"the floppy-haired girl\\\" that Pam is dating. Right on, Kelly.

Michael\'s lingo being tracked by a stenographer was really fun. We\'re so used to the way he behaves, as are his co-workers. It was a great play to have the humorless lawyers take his words literally and try to make sense of them. The TWSS stuff as a kind of \"who\'s on first?\" mess was a lot of fun. But yikes, I felt really bad for Michael taking slams from every direction. Jan had it coming, he didn\'t. I love the shot of Ryan at lunch sitting with 2 guys that have the same metrobeard. P.S. You stay classy David Wallace!

I just started watching the episode (all glory be to the TiVo), but Michael\'s \"and I threw in some \'ers\' and \'uhs\' just so it doesn\'t seemed memorized\" is about as self-aware a line as there\'s been for the show, yet. Oh, and off topic of the episode itself, when things get going again in the dream future, there\'s definitely going to be a union/strike related episode with the warehouse workers, right? It seems too obvious.

Best Laugh EVER on the Office!!! When Michael pushes Toby\'s food off the table. I was crying and my stomach hurt from so much laughing. Great episode. Lots of good stuff with the deposition (I even had to like Toby\'s laugh at the mention of \"hot Ryan.\") and the ping pong stuff was good too. Though, I have to admit, I\'m not sure I understand what Darryl sees in Kelly.

Old school Office. No worries of over the top behavior, no doubt of Michael\'s sanity, no Jim douchebaggery, no Pam bitchery. Just adult, sophisticated, high brow laughter. The Michael plot felt true, and finally he gets to see what Jan thought of him when she had her job. Michael is a crutch for Jan: without him, maybe she could walk, but not as confidently as she once did. Still, Michael refused to put the company down for her. Meanwhile, Jim stood up for Pam\'s honor, while Pam and Kelly may very well still be playing that game of ping pong. Dwight proved he is still good at all the things people would never expect him to be good at, and Toby got neglected and rejected, as always. If this is to be the season finale, I say they went out on a high note. While I have enjoyed this season even during its over the top moments, this felt right. It was The Office through and through. Now bring on some Retro TWSS! And I\'ll be willing to participate if ya need me. :)
