From Wikipedia: THE CHUMP | 5.13.10 Michael is surprisingly cheerful after learning some bad news about Donna. The new parents, Pam and Jim, have trouble staying awake in the office. Meanwhile, Angela takes matters into her own hands when Dwight refuses to honor their pre-natal contract. -------- As always, post your comments below! Well all I can say is about time. This has been a very uneven year and we finally got an episode that was edgy and funny all at the same time. Great cold opening and having the whole office rally around preparing for Michaels depression response was very very funny. Ultimately we knew michael would end it as he is ultimately the character we sympathize with. I am anxious to see who the Scranton serial killer is now and we need to start a petition to bring Holly back!

Best cold open of the season!!! Although i didn\'t buy it that Michael would act like such a big jerk after finding out about his girlfriend. I like stupid Michael a whole lot more then the Michael in this episode. I predict that the season will end with Sabre going under from the printers catching on fire, then hopefully everything will go back to the old Dunder Mifflin. Either that or the whole Gabe as the strangler thing. But i really doubt it Matt, sorry :)

The cold open was funny, but I think the whole Toby being shooed out of the office before \"depressed\" Michael came in would have been funnier if that cold open had been on a different episode/had not just happened. I am a Michael lover, but he seemed almost too amped up during the cold open. Enjoyed the episode overall. Started an A+ and ended a solid B. I get it that Pam and Jim were both up all night with the baby, but the fact that Pam wouldn\'t let Jim have an energy drink was lame. Love the talking head with Pam and Erin, but that is the only thing Pam has done lately that I have enjoyed.

I like the idea of the episode. At least, what I think is the main plot idea of the episode--Michael assumes yet another ridiculous persona--Amoral Mike. I think the episode would have been better if they had used the cold open to reveal that Michael was still dating Donna, then used the bulk of the episode to show Amoral Mike cutting a swath of damage through the office before finally being forced to face this damage that he has caused. Oh, and Meredith has never slept with a married man? I don\'t believe it. She should have either been on Michael\'s side or indifferent. Why are Jim and Pam afraid of Gabe? Didn\'t we already learn he has no real power? Also, why is disappearing from your desk to sleep in the warehouse better than sleeping at your desk? It reminded me of Stanley\'s comment about Michael\'s Ferris Bueller sleeping dummy: I don\'t understand why sleeping at your desk is better than you not being here.

This was a pretty awesome episode, cold open ROCKED and that reference that Andy made back to season 5 about being \"Cuckholded by an older, stronger male\" Lol (Oh thats probably not how thats spelled...) Hope you guys start getting more regulars with the podcasts miss hearing new ones!:)

Also, in regards to the Radon warning from Toby, he originally warned about it in Season 5, Episode 10 (The Surplus). TOBY: \"There\'s asbestos in the ceilings, and radon from down below. These are silent killers, Michael.\" MICHAEL: \"You are the silent killer, Toby.\" TOBY: \"You\'ll see...\"

Replace the baseball scene with a better one, then give Michael\'s transformation more than a few silent seconds in a car and this is a strong episode. Jim is a wuss. His wife won\'t allow him to sleep through the night if she can\'t, and won\'t allow him to drink an energy drink if she can\'t. Why must they both be tired all day? Also, if Jim is making anywhere near 100k in commission, he can afford to let Pam stay at home. I suppose it\'s great to have a strong independent working woman on the show, but I must say that Pam is a great argument for the benefits of women\'s oppression. Maybe Jim should let Pam have an affair with Roy, just to get that old spark back. By this time next year, Ryan\'s transformation into Woody Allen will be complete.

why is stanley getting all into michael about it? that was really annoying but i am glad that the relationship is over Michael isnt the type to do that to another person so good move by andy, introducing michael to the husband the angela dwight was amusing the jim and pam plot was pretty pointless (unless the whole point was to get them in the situation where they overheard the going ons of dwight and angela) and that place was no where near as comfortable as darryl described it cold open is classic and the end cap introduces us to the next episode which i dont think has ever happened before and i guess erin and andy are really over afterall

Anyone else notice the first two ice cream flavors, \"Desperadough,\" and \"Witchy Womanilla,\" were the two Eagles songs used by the Seinfeld writers in the episode where Kramer stores Japanese tourists in his dresser drawers? Aaron Shure = Seinfeld junkie. Methoughts: BJ Novak looks like Orville Redenbacher. Toby open: HighLarious. \"Since when is this an office where we delve into each other\'s personal lives?\" -- More Seinfeld self referencing. I\'m all over you, Shure. Gabe is such a great addition to this cast. He brings an original vibe to the Ben Stiller mold. He could be in line to replace Carrel, with him at the helm, the asylum would still belong to the inmates. \"The other guys can go die.\" I felt really dirty at parts watching this episode, redemption came for Michael, though, as always. It\'s hard to envision Todd Packer, or Darnell, or Gabe wrapping up an episode, when you see Carell do it so brilliantly. Nice little plot toss-in at the end with the printers. Looks like next season\'s seed has been planted.

I bet Pam beats Jim at home. Just a guess. I wish she would make him get a haircut. Those sloppy locks just accentuate his rapidly expanding features. He\'ll be Abe Vigoda by the time he turns 45. Toby\'s getting fat. Probably depressed. I don\'t blame him. I miss Old Pam too.
