Episode # 121 of THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID finds both Matt and Kevin... actually making podcasts again. California, rescue me//From office mee-dee-ock-ri-tee. It's the dawn of a Carell-less season of The Office, and both Robert California and Andy Bernard find themselves filling the managerial voids left by their predecessors. The question is, on which side of the list will they fall? When California divides the office into winners and losers, it's up to Andy to set the record straight. Except for Gabe, that is… very astute. So. Winners, prove him right; losers, prove him wrong… and then… SHOVE IT UP YOUR BUTT. Incidental music provided by Music Alley from Mevio. OMG!!! I haven't been plugging in my ipad to the laptop lately so I have had to manually update my podcasts. I finally turned it on and hit refresh all and 3 new episodes of TWSS downloaded!!!! I am so excited. You guys are seriously my favorite podcast. I love the positive and negative critiques of one of my favorite shows (whether it stays on with that distinction we shall see). Thanks for bringing a smile to a weary teacher's face :)

I have to say that I was really happy to see a new TWSS episode show up on my iTunes. Welcome back Matt and Kevin! I love the weekly analysis of the Office episodes from you guys. Of those that were interviewed last season, Robert California would have been my choice. I appreciated that he was completely different than Michael Scott. After all those years of his character I was getting tired of watching him bumbling around and offending people. It was nice to see him gradually grow up last season. In any case, I have my fingers crossed that this season goes well for the show. I did enjoy the scene from this episode where the left side of the list attacked the right side. haha

Matt and Kevin! I am so happy to hear from you guys again! Over the past 8 months, I have been hopefully clicking refresh again and again on iTunes in a vain hope to hear another podcast. I am sure you both put in a lot of work, but listing to your podcast after an episode really does make The Office much more enjoyable. I will agree that The List was kind of a dud, but I did enjoy Pam's crying at everything (minus the final scene), "shove it up your butt" (even though it was stupid), and Dwight being an ass. In regards to previous season, I think it would have been detrimental to the show viewership if they ended with "Goodbye Michael." It had so much closure to it that there was not as much incentive to start up again with the show next season. I suppose this is why they should have just ended the show when Carell left. But anyway, as long as they weren't ending the show, they needed a cliffhanger to keep people interested. I thought the finale, wondering who was the boss, was the solution to that problem.

Glad to have you back Matt and Kevin! I've missed you! I do have to say, now that Michael is gone, I'm sure there will be fewer "that's what she said" jokes in The Office now, -if any. Maybe you should change the name of the podcast to "Shove It Up Your Butt: A Podcast About 'The Office'!"

Cindy -- There's a deleted scene where Ryan talks about how long it takes for fads to reach Scranton. I think they've gone to that well one too many times, but at least I guess they tried to justify it. MM -- what, you're not a fan of the "...stick it up your butt!" trend?

WELCOME BACK! Thanks for returning to the podcast. I feel our Office is so down and out, now with no Steve and no respect at the Emmy's. I think they should blow up the current set, go back to the old cameras and costumes of season 1 and recreate the original feel of the show. Wasn't the planking bit like ye olde Parkour bit? The office staff are late to the fad as usual. Planking was over months ago, right? I am glad to see that other receptionist/AA is gone. How about a photo somewhere in the office of the happy couple, Michael and Holly? Surely someone in the office would have one? Hope to see the podcast regularly now. Thanks!
