Episode # 56 of THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID finds both Matt and Kevin heading down to the quarry. Noooooo! Noooooo! NOOOOOOOOOO! Flenderson's back, and Michael has to come to terms with this evil snail once again infiltrating his garden of eden... or does he? I'll take one caprese salad, extra weed please. Pam hunts a microwave slob, Jim buys a house, Ryan and Kelly... well, END, and Dwight looks mighty tempting in that mustard shirt. Illegal? That's OK, EVERYthing they do on The Shield is illegal. I just wanted to say that I have strongly disagreed with Matt over more than one episode of the show. That said, he has just as much right to disagree with me or anyone else for that matter. Be respectful guys please - disagree all you want but remember they are doing this for free on their own time.

I thought I would somehow enjoy the episode after listening to the podcast, but my opinion on it hasn\'t changed. If anything I now wish the episode was completely different. I liked Kevin\'s idea of having Michael find out about Toby at the end of the show. The entire first scene would have worked for me at the end. I probably would\'ve laughed myself to sleep that night if the epi had ended with Michael screaming nooooooooooooooooooo. LOL

Yet again, Mindy Kaling has created a pretty solid episode. No matter what goes on in her personal life, she consistently creates stories that are both fan and non-fan friendly. Several of her episodes seem like they could have easily appeared on a season of Friends. Question to both podcasters: I agree the episode isn\'t flawless, but how \"deep\" do we expect our pop culture to go?

Good catch, Irina. I WAS distracted and uncomfortable... trying not to be too negative about Frame Toby. I\'m sensitive about being too negative, but it is surely easier to praise episodes that you truly like or love. Brian, did you catch the part of the podcast where I said that Goodbye Toby was a great episode?

I love the podcast. It gives me a chance to enjoy the episode again with commentary without having to buy dvds! Anyway, keep up the good work. To me there were two things that really made this episode unfunny to me. Ryan and Kelly making out makes me want to puke, and the framing of Toby went beyond Michael\'s usual hilarious dislike of Toby. Way beyond. Who knows? Next year when I sit on my couch and watch the entire season it might have a place in the oeuvre that makes sense and makes me laugh. Until then I\'ll just call it a bad episode. Increase the peace Brian!

Wait... don\'t they have 2 microwaves in the office? Remember when Phyliss made popcorn in the second microwave because the other microwave smelled like popcorn? Pan should have just used the other one if the first one was a mess. Unless it smelled like popcorn.

My take on why Jim was backing away from Pam isn\'t because he had a lot on his mind with the house - it\'s because he was sick of hearing Pam go on and on about the microwave and was trying to get away from the conversation without telling her to shut up or let it go. He didn\'t care to hear anymore about it, but he didn\'t want to appear unsupportive.

Regarding your comment about how it would have been better to have Michael trying to ditch the camera when he went to buy the weed...you failed to mention (to me) the funniest moment of the show, Dwight\'s fruitless gesture of closing the door on the camera crew.

Matt and Kevin you\'re crazy. I loved Frame Toby! I thought Jenna and John K were perfect. I thought the story was touching. I cried my eyes out... the whole ending was beautiful! I am a fan of John K, so that may have a little to do with it - but I loved that for 22 minutes I was taken away from La La Land and was brought all the way to Scranton! There was adventure, romance, tragedy and was laugh-packed! I remembered why I love The Office when I saw this episode!

So I might be the only one on the planet, but I think that Pam is totally lying about wanting to be in Scranton. I think she lied about failing out of Art School and that if she was truly following her heart she would be back in New York and ask Jim to join her there. Did you see that deleted scene when Pam said \"I love New York! I experienced more there in one week than 3 months in Scranton!\" Or something like that. Did you see Jim’s face when she said that? He might already be on to something. She did the same thing when she was with Roy. She didn’t follow her heart until it was really close to her wedding day. I have a feeling something similar will happen here. I hope she says something sooner than later. I think it would be interesting for PB&J to have a real, could happen in real life, disagreement. Of course I hope that they make it through it and live happier ever after, but in the mean time isn’t it boring if they are happy ALL the time?

Matt - you don\'t have to post this... the podcast was fine on iTunes, and fine as a direct download, but as for the player on the top right on your web site, it was playing the previous podcast when I tried this morning. Matt, -have a great thanksgiving!! -Gary

I disagree with everyone who said that the plotline about Michael not knowing Toby was there was crazy. I thought it was funny, and it made perfect sense to me. Haven\'t you ever had a totally oblivious boss? He rarely goes back to the \"annex\" - why would he? He doesn\'t talk to Kelly, he isn\'t going to go back to HR where Holly sat. I have a great boss but if I was just gone for 3 or 4 days she wouldn\'t notice. It happens.
