Kev - Hardly a lost duel, my good man. Im acknowledging that I had little understanding of why he made the leap from the line in the show to his conclusion, and that my characterization of his analysis was unfair. Clearly his opinion had a legitimate basis - but Im pretty sure Im still right as to what the line meant. And I would hardly consider quoting \"other bloggers\" as sufficient supporting evidence. I seem to recall you disagreed with his take as well....should I quote you? Anyways, again, great job fellas.

Matty, I sit corrected. That analysis seemed to be so out there, I clearly made the terrible mistake of dismissing it without considering it\'s merits. My choice of words was wrong here. Unfortunately, immediate disregard for opposing viewpoints is the curse of every narcissist. :) I stand by my take, if only because there has been no reference to any potential manorexia with Ryan, so it would be odd to introduce it with a very nuanced and subtle choice of words that would likely evade the casual viewer\'s scope of knowledge. Also, while I believe your analysis of the sentence \"food is one thing I can control\" is extremely valid, the connection loses its strength when teamed with the line, \"since I became a temp.\" To move from that line to a subconscious admission of an eating disorder would seem to be a total non-sequitor. Again, a very enjoyable podcast with lots to offer.

Hey, Matt and Kevin, I wonder if I might make a small request. Every week, I have to play a game with the podcast, jerking my Ipod earphones out when you start talking about the next week\'s episode and trying to guess when I should put them back in. This week, I lost and you spoiled me regarding the Michael-Holly plotline. I know I can\'t be the only one who scrupulously avoids spoilers, including preview information. In fact, I know you guys regularly feature complaints about spoilers in NBC promos. I wonder if there might be any way you might consider changing how you handle discussing the next week\'s episode. I can understand if you don\'t want to leave it out entirely, but perhaps there might be a way, such as leaving it until the very end of the podcast with a clear warning: \"Stop listening now if you don\'t want to be spoiled,\" or something like that. (I promise, I won\'t regret missing your wrapup comments and ending theme song. :-) ) Whaddya say?

Great podcast guys! The best part of my \"hump day\". Now I\'m excited for tomorrow\'s episode! BTW, every time your podcast starts and I hear Matt say \"this episode is brought to you by...\" my mind automatically thinks of Sesame Street and I half expect to hear Matt say a letter of the alphabet! \"This episode is brought to you by the letters T, W, S & S!\"

I agree that the cold open was not the best. But I get it on the level that they\'ve made Dwight very mean lately. And he has to resent Pam in the sales department. Erin is sweet and gullible. I can see Dwight using her. Would love to see Erin and Andy hit it off. She seems the type who would be impressed by his talents and sense of humor. If Jim can find love at the receptionist desk, why can\'t Andy?

I appreciate that you guys take the time to break down the episodes, and I do enjoy the podcasts, but your lack of insight is becoming, well....troublesome. Im halfway through this latest p/c, and this idea that Ryan is anorexic is borderline moronic. Five small meals a day obviously relates to his new attempts to get healthy after being a cokehead, but more importantly, his reference to control is all about his life as a temp under Michael. As a temp, he is at Michael\'s whim, leaving him to one minute be updating emergency info, then getting up at 5 am to get a sausage biscuit, then driving 20 miles for yams. You guys do a great job with production and summary and discussion, but when it comes to analysis it\'s a disaster.
