Can I just say I am incredibly happy and surprised to see so many other office fans interested in the same shows I am? 1. Buffy: The Vampire Slayer 2. Angel 3. Firefly (What can I say? I too enjoy the works of Joss) 4. The Office 5. Arrested Development 6. Project Runway 7. Doctor Who I\\\'ve been told I\\\'d enjoy Battlestar Gallactica (teehee) and The X-Files. I have yet to view them. Big load of shame on me.

I might start seeing things Matt\'s way, as I\'ve had a difficult time coming up with a list of comedies. But these are the five I\'ve probably consistently enjoyed the most, over the longest period of time (in no particular order): Seinfeld Frasier Scrubs The Simpsons Cheers I\'d put Sports Night, because I absolutely love that show, but I don\'t know how often I actually laughed at it. It was more of a half-hour dramedy. The Office could be on the list. Obviously, it\'s one of my favorite shows right now. But to me, it just hasn\'t been on long enough yet. Same with How I Met Your Mother, which I love. Of course, that\'s subjective. Maybe 3-4 years of The Office is better than 10 years of Frasier. We\'ll see. As far as other, non-comedy shows... maybe I\'ll post that list at my blog. But it\'s safe to say Deadwood, The Wire, and Homicide will be on it.

I\\\'ve never really watched television for non-children (trying to make that phrase as clean as possible, because I realized it could have come out sounding quite dirty. . .) because I usually prefered watching movies. But now that television shows are being released on DVD, I\\\'ve become a t.v. junkie! (In a manner of speaking. . .) So while my list may be biased toward those actually on DVD, here it is in absolutely no particular order. My favorite tv shows: 1. The Office 2. Firefly 3. News Radio 4. Sliders (Seasons 1-3. Yes, I was a geeky girl in love with Jerry O\\\'Connell) 5. Lost 6. Gilmore Girls (though not so much anymore. . .) 7. Red Dwarf (do British Comedies count?) 8. Black Adder 9. Project Runway 10. X-Men (do cartoons count?)
