From NBC.com:
CUSTOMER SURVEY | 11.06.2008 | 9/8c TV-PG
THE
CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT - Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Jim (John
Krasinski) are shocked when they get the results of the annual customer
survey report. Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim decide they want to spend
every minute together using their bluetooth phones. Meanwhile, Angela
(Angela Kinsey) and Andy (Ed Helms) pick an unusual location for their
wedding. Steve Carell, B.J. Novak, Leslie David Baker, Brian
Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Phyllis Smith, Oscar Nunez and Creed
Bratton also star.
---------------------- Based on the way things have been going, I'm not sure how anyone would be surprised by a POOR survey of customer satisfaction. Guess we'll just have to see what the fuss is all about... hey, maybe they're surprised because people actually LIKE their company? As always, leave comments below and join Kevin and me in the TWSS chat room after the show. EDIT: Someone jokingly brought this up in the chatroom last night, but it turns out that YES, NBC is indeed selling those MUGS at the NBCU store as of today. You can buy them separately for $12 each, or get all 10 for $90. If you order before next Monday, you can get 15% off your order using the code OFFICEFAN.

Cindy lou, Michael talked to his mom in the episode where he grilled his foot. Have to say that I am lovin\' me some Dwight these last 3 or 4 episodes. His bidding at the auction for a hug from Phyllis, fake-applying to Cornell and then this week. I loved the look on his face and the excitement in his voice when he was congratulating Michael in the cold open. Then his excitement when Jim validated his subterfuge theory and the ending scene (though it was kinda creepy the way he was slavering over Angela). Best string of episodes for Rainn Wilson and the character of Dwight in quite a while, and I enjoy watching it. As for the Jim & Pam stuff, other posters have said what I think too. The writers are straining credibility with the timing, falling into predictability with the arc of the relationship and generally boring the fans. Not a good combination. My favorite TWSS of the season (though I love Pam\'s) was \"it squeaks when you bang it\" from the auction episode. I still chuckle to myself every time I think of it.

Great episode! Lots of laughs, lots of drama. Yes, what\'s up with the 3 months in NY thing? Do the writers think nobody notices or do they just expect us to go along with it because it\'s just a TV show..it definately contradicts the \"reality\" they seem to try for. Kind of an insult to the audience..it seems to me it would be pretty easy to explain Pam having to stay in NY longer. On a more positive note, I also think this was probably the best episode so far this season. In the cold open,I thought it was pretty funny that Michael just hangs up on his mom! How rude! I also think we have not heard the last of Michael\'s reaction to this break up, (at least I hope). I\'m just kind of glad we\'re not seeing the blubbering, depressed, etc. Michael we\'ve seen previously after a break up..it would have been too much. I like that they\'re dealing with it in a different way, and keeping us guessing? Maybe? Hope so.. One of my favorite parts was when Jim figures out that Kelly \"fixed\" their customer surveys and tells Dwight he was right..and how long it took for Jim to get the point across..great timing, very funny, and wow! did that kick come close to Phyllis\'s head! very fun physical comedy. Silly, but I think those scenes help to balance out the more dramatic parts.

I really didn\'t like the cold open this episode. It seemed like it didn\'t fit well and as if its only purpose was some twisted form of closure on the whole \"Holly\" thing. I guess it took Michael an entire week to tell the office crew what happened on the sorrowful trip. What\'s up with the blatant product placement. The show is so full of emotion and touches so many people that they don\'t need to sell out like this. The show has many trends, but this is one that gets more and more annoying every time it re-occurs. One scene that I liked and hated at the same time was when the boy from school tells Pam how it is and Jim is forced to overhear. The scene steadily gets more and more aukward. We start with the boy coming to Pam\'s job (strike 1), then Jim \"inferring\" that the guy is \"implying\" some pretty strong feelings for Pam (strike 2), and then all of America goes silent as we and our favorite office couple are slapped with a huge pile of reality as Pam and Jim are forced to really think about their future. The truth hurts, but I wasn\'t prepared for this. Good episode, but I wanted it to end with a smile on my face.

Dwight, Get out of my Nook! Fantastic episode & Awesome TWSS.... Like most of the other commenters it was the interactions between Jim & Pam / Jim & Dwight that totally stole the episode for me. The characters just play off each other so well. And Mindy Kalling, she is just a riot. Her and Michael bonding had the perfect balance of humor \"I can\'t tell you how much leftover guacamole I have ended up eating\" and heart. Regarding Dwangela - It\'s funny, for the longest time I didn\'t have much sympathy for Andy after he set Dwight up in Season 3 (in addition to his general annoying behavior). But now I\'m starting to feel for him & am wondering how long the love triangle can go on. Exactly what kind of outcome can we get that isn\'t too overly dramatic? Guess we\'ll just have to wait and see!

I love it when the office takes something standard in office situations and turns the volume up on them. Customer surveys can always turn on the people they\'re done for, and I have seen employees get upset for lower scores than anticipated, since it affects their bonuses. It was good to see Dwight and Jim work together again, and it makes me think they like each other, but their fault is that they enjoy testing each other more. As for Michael\'s road to recovery over Holly, I thought that whole engagement thing was so abrupt, I didn\'t get it at first. I guess delusion is Michael\'s best way of coping with things out of his control. I hope for continuity\'s sake that it comes up again, because I can\'t believe that that\'s all Michael did in reaction to the breakup. Also loved that Jim shouted out the type of coffee Pam would order.

I liked most of this episode and I agree with Lara, very season two. Although I\'ve enjoyed the scenes outside of the office, it felt comfortable and familiar to have the main action back inside the walls of Dunder Mifflin. Especially loved the role playing between Michael, Dwight and Jim. I know it was a bit over the top, but the sophomoric humor makes me laugh. And Kelly. Hmm...she usually makes me laugh, but I found her really irritating this episode. It seems a bit out of character for her to wait this long to get her revenge. Then again, maybe the writers have purposely made a reference to Kelly\'s summer party to make it seem like it wasn\'t that long ago...trying to account for Pam\'s \"three\" months in New York? Overall, it was a good episode with some definite laugh out loud moments. Looking forward to next week.

I loved this episode. Best episode. Loved the Dwight pranks. With the ear piece and customer call. I hope Pam doesn\'t stay in New York. Do you think she\'s seriously considering it? Awww, Angela and Dwight. She looked so happy at the end. But poor Andy is trying so hard. \"You can\'t just come into my nook and call me stupid!\" Love it. Wow, kelly is weird. The best part aout this episode is that Pam and Jim are talking the ENTIRE TIME!!! And ryan speaks!

The highlight of this episode, for me, was actually seeing Jim and Dwight working TOGETHER for a change. The antagonistic nature of their relationship is great, it\'s really one of the best things about the show, but this was a very nice way to change it up without sacrificing the established character of either of them. And c\'mon -- Rainn Wilson screaming \"Buttlicker\" into a phone? And Michael considering firing him over a hypothetical million-dollar deal? That was freakin\' hysterical.
-
Oh, dear. Maybe I\'m naive, but for the first time, I\'m actually starting to believe that Jim and Pam might break up. Both of their expressions at the end, the way neither said anything... it worries me. And it seemed like Pam was really effected by what that guy said, like the \"artist\" line hit a nerve. I really, really do hope I\'m wrong. In other news, the Jim/Dwight camaraderie was terrific-- I always think that the pranking and bickering works best when their similarities are highlighted. It was also oddly touching to see Kelly and Michael share a moment of mutual alienation; now that I think of it, their minds do indeed tread similar pathways. I\'m getting a little sick of the Dwandygela triangle. It\'s gone on long enough; culminate already, please.

Great episode! It felt a bit old school with the inter-office dilemmas and sweet Jim & Pam (with bonus poignant scene at the end). Dwight and Jim working together is always fun on the rare occasions it happens, and the moment with Michael comforting Kelly was gorgeous. Angela though- wtf? I don\'t understand what she is doing, is she testing Dwight to see how far he\'ll go to make her happy? I assume she\'ll be travelling solo to Shrute Farms for some \'wedding planning,\' but how much longer are they going to keep this up? Please god don\'t let them draw this out until she dumps Andy at the altar- while this would be hilarious, I don\'t know how much more I can stomach of this secret Dwight/Angela relationship. Make them official already, and let Andy seek solace in Meredith or something... whoa that is so wrong, yet strangely now I want to see it.
-
Chris, I totally thought Ryan was behind it at first. It makes sense for Kelly to be pissy about them not going to a party though. At first I thought she was sabotaging Jim because he and Pam are engaged and Kelly is not engaged. But I couldn\'t pin down why she would be mad at Dwight.

This weeks episode was the first episode since Weight Loss that truly loved not puppy love like I did with Crime Aid but I truly felt that this episode set up whats going to happen for this season but still did had some funny moments. Best episode this season so far.

BOOOYAAH! finally an eppy i can say YEAH to!!! open your costco can of guac, put up the gray tent and invite the hobos! :D MAJOR TWSS action - YAY for pammie belting one out! :D TOTALLY loved this eppy! the whole scene of the role playing sales call was back to season 2 brillance! LOVED it! ah. i feel anew. my faith has been restored in this nation (GOBAMA!) *AND* the office. *whew!*

Loved this episode. Lots of laughs. Thought the bluetooth thing was a great way to keep Pam involved in the show. Loved the classic Jim-Dwight interaction. Overall, a great example of an \"in-office\" episode that doesn\'t deal with some impending crisis or big board room scene. Two thumbs up.

\"You can\'t do New York in three months.\" What the --? So they\'re pretending that June to October is three months? Or did I completely misinterpret? Otherwise I liked the episode -- Jim actually admitting that Dwight was right for once was fab-o. Also, I liked having more Jenna in this ep. She has be SORELY missed. The end with Jim\'s shocked silence was great in an \'OH NO!\' sort of way.
-
Liked this one better than the last one. Laughed a lot more--the entire scene of Dwight/Jim/Michael doing a practice call was hysterical. Sort of a ridiculous plot, but they made me laugh so I forgive them. Also, the Mad Man suggested Pam will have only been there three months. At first it was a summer thing, but then she\'s there on Halloween, but now she\'s only been there less than three months again. What gives, writers?

I DVRed it and had to FF every time Ryan was on. He is so annoying and painful to watch that I can\'t take it anymore!!! I was so upset when he wasn\'t kicked out of Dunder Mifflin because that means I\'ll have to suffer next week again. He is the most annoying character I\'ve ever seen!
-
How does Blunder Mifflin stay in business this long? Maybe Infinity 3.0 will help when it\'s up... I also work for office supplier named \"Quill\" which is owned by well um \"STAPLES\" ...And we have even better customer satisfaction ratings than STAPLES. I guess I just answered my own question...
-
\"I gotta see this a few more times\" Initially I hated the cold open because Michael should have been more lovesick for Holly instead of telling everyone he was engaged. It seemed way too ridiculous even for Michael. Jim and Pam are finally dealing with the other guy that Pam met at Art school. His appeal for her to stay is strumming at her heart strings of what she really want\'s to do. Will she stay or Go? This could get interesting as Jim coincidentally met up with Roy and what came from his mouth but: \"I thought you were her friend\". Hate the Andy or Dwight plot line!!! How could they write Andy so naive? Kelly is scornful as ever...
-
Definitely the best episode of the season so far! It had the great Jim & Pam interplay that I had been missing all season. We all knew that their big crossroads was going to come sooner or later, but the delivery felt a little forced. I officially hate the art school guy. But I have faith that Jim & Pam will find a way. I love Jim & Dwight actually working together...recalling a bit of what made Traveling Salesmen so great. I do think Jim & Pam really do adore Dwight and consider him a friend. I wouldn\'t be surprised if Jim & Pam give Dwight a role in their wedding. Usher maybe? The only thing I felt was a little cheap was the abbreviated Michael/Holly moment. Then again, it gave the unforgettable Craig line of offering to pay for Michael\'s therapy.
