Well, it's been three weeks, and I'm finally starting to feel better. My voice still isn't 100%, but Ian and I are gearing up to record episode #18. I know it's been a while, and I appreciate your patience. If anyone has any fresh comments from the last week or two, send 'em in or post them under this thread-- especially any reactions to the Paley Fest stuff. Be talking to ya soon. Seacrest out.

Matt, Just ignore Kris, that\\\'s how he is. He does have an ego. ;) I told him there was an episode I didn\\\'t like as well as the others and he accused me of being \\\"just like Matt.\\\" :) Our office listens to the podcast every week, and we\\\'re looking forward to the next one. (And let me know if you want me to take some vengeance on Kris for you).

With the last episode before this, the entire mood of The Office has changed. No longer can we sympathize with Roy. He has shown his true colors, although his reaction seemed a bit harsh, even from him. Was it the fact that his brother was there that led to such a harsh response, or simply the fact that it was Jim kissing Pam. Roy seemed to trust Jim to be a close friend of Pam, and nothing more. He was the one who talked to Pam when Roy couldn\\\'t, or simply did not want to. Little did he know that Jim had motives Roy was oblivious to. Will Roy try to take revenge on Jim? If he does, I expect Pam to get in the way, leading Roy to realize just how ridiculous he is being. As for Jim, hopefully he will find out what Roy did, and stand up for Pam like a good friend should. I\\\'m sure Karen will not be pleased, but hopefully even she will understand the bond between these two goes a lot deeper than even she expects. Anyway, there\\\'s my two cents. Glad you\\\'re feeling better Matt, and I send my regards to my fellow Ian as well.

Matt, I didn\\\'t know you were ill. I just assumed you read my comment on the last thread about how incongruous it is that you run a podcast about a show that you seem to enjoy so little and realized your time could be better spent. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mean for this to sound the slightest bit mean and I would hate for you to stop recording podcasts because I enjoy them. However, it is you Matt that I am concerned about. I just want you to be happy and I don’t think the Office is doing it for you. So if you just needed to hear somebody say it in order for you to give yourself permission to pursue other more fulfilling avenues let that person be me. On the other hand, maybe your illness was simply your body purging itself of whatever bacteria or cancer was keeping you from deriving pleasure from possibly the greatest show to ever grace television.

I\\\'m sure it\\\'s on imdb.com and whatnot, but I saw Oscar on the Italian Job the other night. He was a security guard, had a couple of lines... sheer non-gay brilliance. I also watched the Dundies again, and in the background you see Oscar next to a lady.. I think the writers must\\\'ve decided to make him gay sometime soon after that (halloween-ish time). Granted, they could just write it off as closet-behavior (bringing a woman to the office party). There\\\'s the oscar update... or... umm.. pastdate.
