Hey Matt... just now got to listen to your latest podcast... great job going solo!!! You asked whether or not it should be Pam or noone for Jim... well, I don\'t mind a few dalliances here or there for both Pam and Jim as long as they end up together in the end, I guess. I really think its Jim being in Stamford that is throwing off the flow of the show. Jim needs to be back in Scranton so Pam can realize fully what she\'s been missing. And we certainly can\'t blame Jim for being interested in someone else... someone who is not closing themselves off to him. AARRRRGGG... the angst of it all!!!!

I think Matt may be off the mark about Dwight \"plotting all this time,\" to take over the office. I believe he is *fiercely* loyal to Michael, but is acting out Angela\'s \"grow a pair,\" line. I think Dwight, despite his weirdo / loner-in-a-shack tendencies, also has tendencies that drive him to assimilate where and how he can. If he heard Angela admonish him to \"grow a pair,\" I think he would immediately act out the way he thought would fulfill that the most. I think this is why he directs her to \"take over the women,\" too.

You are *way* over-reacting to the lack of Jim/Pam this episode. One episode without it and you\'re wondering if the whole third season is doomed? Honestly, cool out. Wait for the November/February/May sweeps because those are the tentpole times for show plot points. Good things will happen (unless the show\'s cancelled...) You shippers just go *bananas* sometimes. It\'s like Mulder/Scully all over again.

Matt- Nice job on this podcast. It\'s tough to fill an hour of just you talking, but I am sure your teaching experience helps you. First of all, I thought this was the best episode of the season. The scene right after Dwight gets back for his meeting is like \"The Godfather\" gone terribly wrong. I laughed all the way through that. My favorite clip is Michael\'s reaction to being called \"Mike\". The look says \"Is putting Dwight through this worth the indignity?\" I think everyone is putting too much into the whole Jim and Pam thing. Ross and Rachel ended up together on Friends but it took 10 seasons. Let\'s hope we get that many seasons out of The Office. Their wedding would make a great series finale, hopefully years from now. My only problem with the Stamford branch is that showing stuff from there takes away from time spent in the Scranton office. I know NBC does not have the guts to do it, but they should have had a whole spin off featuring the Stamford office. Maybe the show with the Stamford office only could have lasted until they want to bring Jim back to Scranton. I guess I just am amazed at how much really good stuff hits the cutting room floor. This show needs to be an hour!!!! Just a couple ideas for the off week- maybe you could talk about your favorite 5 or 10 episodes, and also maybe you could focus a little more in detail on the deleted scenes from the season two DVD.

Interesting point to see how the true \"Jammers\" are gonna hold out for the next few episodes. I love Jim and Pam, but it was nice to see Jim getting back to his normal groove, even if it was with anouther women. For me this was one of those episodes that gets funnier with each viewing (Especially the Micheal/Dwight scenes)). The clips were great and made me laugh in my seat. Great job with the solo podcast this week. I\'m hopping something could work out with James, Tanster, or any of the Office Fansite owners since they are all such cool people. I agree with Erik with the analisis of deleted season 2 scenes or something for the repeat show. There was alot of great material on those things and going over the best ones would be awesome. ((P.S. It was cool to here my e-mail in the podcast. And don\'t worry, I was not let down at all with this week\'s episode. :) ))
