It's not as good as "sex ed" but still good. The band thing was kinda dumb. Why were they doing it in the warehouse? Love competent Michael, but he was almost too good. If it wasn't for all the possible law suits "the sting" could start, he would have seemed like a super perfect boss. As a female in her mid-twenties, I don't think Timothy Olyphant is that attractive. Why is Michaels office emptied out? We all know he's leaving at the end of the season, but where have all the set dressings gone? I didn't see them in the "fake" office and his office was distractingly bare. Yay for the Packer reminder/connection!

At first watch, I hated this episode. At second watch, I didn't like it that much more. I have to say that I've never been a fan of the stunt-casting in The Office, and Tim Olyphant didn't really change my mind. Did it seem odd that Angela went along with Kelly's Josh Duhamel reference? Is it me, or does Jim seem to be threatened by Josh, I mean Danny encroaching on his handsome-guy-of-the-office territory? My guess is that this will be yet one more odd administrative decision that leads to Michael getting canned. But if this might help Packer come back for an episode or two, then I'm willing to let this run. Finally, I actually feel like the Andy/Darryl/Kevin trio material was the most interesting part of this episode, and even that was rather lackluster.

I was hoping for a different turn from Timothy Olyphant. More of a creepy, slick, intense guy that for whatever reason, you still want to be around. I liked his homeless woman comment about Meredith. What is to become of Packer? Will this be Michael's ultimate undoing? Tune in next week...

Friday MLD here as I'm in the UK. I really enjoyed this episode but felt myself getting more and more confused as it went along... Dunder Mufflin? Paper? What happened to the takeover by Sabre? Printers? Jo? Gabe? Was all of that just a dream? It could easily have been an episode from an earlier season - it had me laughing out loud for the first time in ages, Timothy Olyphant was brilliant and the whole Pam thing wasn't overplayed as I feared it might be. But what the hell? Where is the consistency? Am I supposed to suspend disbelief to the point that I disregard the plot of the last 17 episodes? Can't wait to hear what you guys have to say about this!

To reiterate some of the things I mentioned in the chat room... Not a bad episode, but definitely the weakest of the season so far. I thought there were some great moments, but the whole wasn't as good as the sum of its parts. To be honest, I think I'm getting a little "Andy'd-out"...and am beginning to wonder if they're doing this to make sure Ed Helms doesn't bolt the show as well. This is a shame as Jim is being relegated to a background character. And for the first time in the history of the series, I thought Michael was a little TOO competent; usually when he does something good it's by accident, but here he seemed to be one step ahead of everyone. Also, why isn't Creed in Andy's band? All in all, this was a typical Mindy Kaling-penned episode, plenty of funny...but not quite enough depth to hold it all together. Mindy does have a lot to contribute, but I wish she would try collaborating with one of the other regular writers. Don't be too hard on this one guys, there was still plenty of fun, and if this is the worst of the bunch, the show is in good shape...

I thought this episode was preaty decent with a couple real funny moments like with the Dwight penis museam but I think this season is getting to Andy heavy and I don't know if this is just me but I thought Ryan sounded like a girl when talking about Andy's song were he sounded like a girl and I thought that was kind of weird.

Frickin' wierd episode. I didn't like the cold open. I know they like to go to the 'dumb Michael' well a lot, but that was a bit too much. Besides that, I liked the first half. The set up of Andy's band, and the set up of the sting were great. Kinda went downhill from there. Meredith was way too creepy. Dwight's sudden turn was unexpected. I don't think it's like him to drop something just because it turned 5. The band scenes just featured really corny music. I'm glad Andy stopped being a dick. Overall, like people said in the chatroom, weakest episode of the season. That being said, it's still better than most of the season 6 episodes. This episode set up some interesting plotlines. I still wanna see what they do with Andy's band. There's for sure still going to be some tension between Jim and Danny, and maybe even Danny and Todd Packer?
